Quick home workouts, that work

We’re all busy, right? And for many of us getting to the gym can often be a huge challenge – myself included. Whilst I loved having membership at a local health club, and pictured myself attending classes 4-5 times a week and then catching up with friends over brunch and a large coffee, in reality when I did manage to get there (rare) I’d do a quick workout and then be dashing off with a long list of chores to do at home.

If the gym really works for you and suits your lifestyle then that’s superb, but if you are looking for an alternative and yet still want to stay fit then these 4 following recommendations might help:

1/ The Body Coach

The HIIT workouts are often only 20 mins long (perfect for trying to fit a workout into your day) – and wow, they make you sweat. They’re easy to follow too. Plus who doesn’t want to watch Joe Wicks working out?, exactly. Click here for his YouTube workouts.

2/ Yoga with Adriene

Calming, relaxing yoga & strength work for all levels, from beginner to expert. It’s hard not to enjoy following along to her videos. Click here for more.

3/ Cosmic Kids

If you’re doing home yoga over the summer holidays then why not get the kids involved too. Trying to workout with the children around isn’t always easy so that’s why Cosmic Kids Yoga is brilliant – mine love doing it along with me. There are plenty of fun and interactive sessions to follow.

4/ Fitness Blender

I absolutely love these workouts, I am obsessed. There is a workout to suit every kind of exercise or level of fitness that you’re looking for, and many are without equipment too. Perfect for a sweaty and tough workout in your living room. I like how it shows how many calories you burn during the session.

No excuses now hey?
