What We’ve Been Obsessed With Lately

Hello! Did you miss us on here? Hope so. We have missed posting! So, why haven’t we been sharing on here as much as we were before? Life and work getting in the way of hobbies and down-time, I guess. You’ll know all about that.

So we’re back (yay) and we’re kicking off the writing on Mothers Who with some things we’ve been obsessed with lately that we thought you might like to know about too. Sharing is caring, right?

Motherland

Oh.M.Gee this programme is pure class (pictured above). It’s hilarious and so accurate about modern parenting. It is very relatable too. If you need a giggle then this is for you. Perfect binge watching for these dark, cold nights. You can find it on BBC2.

The Body Coach

Joe Wicks is our fitness crush and motivation for getting our gym gear on. What’s not to like though? He’s easy on the eye, friendly, and the workouts are tough, but not too tough. You can find him on YouTube – his workouts are around 20 mins long and great for toning and cardio.

Fashion – Coats

Yesssssss! Coats and bags and ankle boots are back and we’re loving all the trends around right now. We’re obsessed with the collections from the brands Mint Velvet, Marks and Spencer and Hobbs. Grab yourself a classic shape, longer coat, perhaps checked or camel, and then it’ll last you for a long time. Perfect for covering up as the days get chiller.

Christmas Adverts

I know, it’s the C word already. But bear with us. Because, even though it’s hard getting on board with the darker evenings and colder weather, the excitement of Christmas is beginning. We are loving the Walkers advert with Mariah Carey and the nostalgic Argos one. John Lewis we can’t wait!

The Testaments

And finally, if you’re a big fan of The Handmaid’s Tale then you’ll love this new book, by Margaret Atwood. It is a sequel to The Handmaid’s Tale and the novel’s events occur fifteen years after the events of The Handmaid’s Tale. It explains what happens to the people involved in Gilead. A must read.
